Eco Empowerment

Eco Empowerment is a visually expressive zine created to engage readers with the urgent environmental challenges facing our planet — and the power individuals have to make a difference. Designed in collaboration with Victor, the zine blends bold graphic design, typography, and editorial storytelling to communicate sustainability themes in an accessible and energising way.

Our concept focused on shifting the narrative from eco-anxiety to eco-agency. Using strong colour contrasts, layered textures, and impactful text, we designed spreads that not only inform but empower. The zine covers key environmental issues while offering practical steps for action, targeting a younger audience ready to take charge of their impact.

This project challenged us to distil complex ideas into a punchy, emotionally resonant visual format. It reflects our shared belief that design can be a tool for awareness, motivation, and change — one page at a time.
