WIND
Overview

WIND is a sailing gear bag designed to meet the demands of life on the water while tackling the environmental challenges of the sport. I saw a clear need for strong, functional bags tailored to sailors, and set out to create one using entirely reclaimed materials. The result is a durable, water-resistant gear bag made from old sails, recycled ropes, and worn dinghy hardware — each element chosen not just for its performance, but for its story.

This project was an opportunity to explore sustainable product design in a hands-on way. I experimented with different construction techniques and material combinations to ensure the bag could withstand heavy use, while still feeling unique and personal. Every component carries a history — and that connection to real sailing experiences is part of what makes it special.

WIND represents my commitment to designing products that are both purposeful and environmentally conscious. It also pushed me to think creatively about waste, value, and the role design can play in giving materials a second life.
